Hypermobility Pedagogy

The purpose of the study proposal for a PhD in Education at the State University of Rio de Janeiro is to understand, in the context of research-training in cyberculture, how teachers create pedagogical practices in the city-school-cyberspace relationship, enabling the development of a pedagogy of hypermobility. The context of the research takes place at the Federal Institute of Rio de Janeiro, in the courses Teacher Training for Online Education and Teacher Training for Communication, Culture and Art. The research interlocutors are continuing education professors who work in the Metropolitan Region of Rio de Janeiro. The method is Research-training in cyberculture, which comprises research intertwined with
teaching practice, investigating it, researching the research construct and exchanges with plural practitioners that promote the configuration and reconfiguration of the research device. During the field experience, a hypermobility research device was developed to reflect on different contexts of research and training. From the experiences during the investigation, with the sharing of the pedagogical practices of the practicing teachers, some subsuming notions emerged: research with daily life in hypermobility, research-training in hypermobility, education-world: training for freedom and living in the city; urban micronarratives in hypermobility and the pedagogy of hypermobility itself. Thus, it is possible to understand that pedagogical practices in hypermobility are necessary for educators, researchers and students to experience connected and related experiences with their communities to promote quality education.
